I offer individual consultations for women seeking clinical care, support, education or an independent midwifery perspective before, during and after pregnancy. Appointments are at my home clinic near Busselton or in your own home.

I’m Loralee, an endorsed midwife and registered nurse with more than 25 years of experience supporting women and families through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.
My background is emergency nursing, but my passion has always been maternity. I have worked in India, Mexico, Northern Canada and the Kimberley, and I have been in private practice in the South West since 2012, working closely with the region’s hospitals, GPs and obstetricians.
My approach to care is warm, individualised and evidence-informed. I believe women deserve clear information, honest conversations, and the time and space to make decisions about their care that are right for them.
After many years providing continuity of care through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period, my practice now focuses on individual midwifery and women’s health consultations. Whether you are preparing for pregnancy, making decisions during pregnancy, wanting to understand a previous birth, experiencing pregnancy loss, needing breastfeeding support, or simply looking for an experienced midwife to talk things through with, you are welcome to book an appointment.
I live on a property not far from Busselton with my partner, our teenage children and a few furry creatures. Outside work you’ll find me ocean swimming, running, playing piano or reading a good book.

Home consultations are available across the South West, including Busselton, Dunsborough, Margaret River and Bunbury.
Medicare rebates are available for some antenatal and postnatal consultations provided by an eligible endorsed midwife. The rebate depends on the type and length of your consultation and whether your appointment meets Medicare eligibility requirements.

TENS is a portable, non-medication option you can use at home and in hospital to help manage discomfort during labour, while staying mobile and in control.
I’ll show you how and when to use it, so you feel comfortable with your TENS machine before labour begins.

6-week hire, $150, plus a $50 refundable bond
Planning a home water birth? The Birth Pool in a Box Mini is designed specifically for labour and birth. It is compact enough for most homes while still deep enough for buoyancy, movement and changing positions. It has a cushioned inflatable floor, a built-in seat, supportive sides and handles.
The hire includes the pool, an electric inflation pump, equipment for filling the pool, and set-up instructions. A new single-use liner and other disposable supplies are needed for each birth. Ask me about what’s included and what you’ll need to buy.
Pools are subject to availability, so book early. Collect your pool before your homebirth period and return it after your baby is born.
