Antenatal Care

Antenatal care is carried out in the comfort of your own home.

Appointments last 45-60 minutes, although this may vary to accommodate individual needs.

Throughout these check-ups, relationship and rapport are fostered, allowing for open communication and a thorough understanding of your unique needs and preferences.

Initially, appointments are monthly, and then become more frequent as the pregnancy progresses

Appointments includes (but are not limited to):

  • Initial meeting
  • Birth debriefing
  • Assessment of baby growth, well-being, position
  • Maternal well-being
  • In depth discussion of birth preferences
  • Breastfeeding preparation and planning
  • Postnatal preparation and planning
  • Referrals for ultrasounds
  • Referrals for pathology
  • Prescriptions for medications that may be needed
  • Access to an assortment of books and resources
