Antenatal Care
Antenatal care is carried out in the comfort of your own home.
Appointments last 45-60 minutes, although this may vary to accommodate individual needs.
Throughout these check-ups, relationship and rapport are fostered, allowing for open communication and a thorough understanding of your unique needs and preferences.
Initially, appointments are monthly, and then become more frequent as the pregnancy progresses
Appointments includes (but are not limited to):
- Initial meeting
- Birth debriefing
- Assessment of baby growth, well-being, position
- Maternal well-being
- In depth discussion of birth preferences
- Breastfeeding preparation and planning
- Postnatal preparation and planning
- Referrals for ultrasounds
- Referrals for pathology
- Prescriptions for medications that may be needed
- Access to an assortment of books and resources
